I'm not getting notified when I travel

Open Settings in the app and check what it says under Location. If it says anything other than “Automatic”, the operating system is not letting Crossed Paths check your country in the background. On Android you usually have to choose “Allow all the time” in system settings rather than in the app.

I'm in the same country as a friend but got nothing

If that country is home for both of you, Crossed Paths stays quiet by default — otherwise it would notify you constantly. You can change that under Notifications. It also waits a while before telling you about the same country twice.

Signing in

Continue with Apple, Google or the code sent to your email. Enter the email code in the app. A WhatsApp contact number is optional and is separate from account login.

The WhatsApp button doesn't work

The other person must have added a contact number, and you must still be mutually connected and unblocked. We do not verify the number or whether it is available on WhatsApp. Review and send the message in WhatsApp yourself. Crossed Paths cannot see whether it was sent, received or answered, or whether a contact was saved.

Deleting your account

Settings › Delete my account. It is immediate and cannot be undone.
